Finding talented young horses
I’m often asked which part of my job I like the most.
It’s always a tough question to answer since we work in an industry that has so much many aspects and they are all rewarding in their own way.
But I most say, if I have to pick one, this would be it, right here; developing talented young horses.
To earn their trust and guide them into becoming the top horse you first saw and hoped for, before they were even started under saddle – it is truly a privilege and a reward of its own.
Here you can see Pharaoh, a 2015 BWP gelding by Kafka van de Heffinck x No Limit x Chin Chin learning the ropes.
Pharaoh came to us from Belgium in July. He only had the saddle on a couple of times when we first saw him and had only been free jumped. At first sight, his athleticism and work ethic were quite obvious and to this day, he’s not disappointing.
Thank you Anne-Sophie Milette for finding this special young horse
